The Embroidery group meets at the craft rooms every Thursday morning at 9.30 am until 11.30 am. All visitors would be very welcome.
Every Thursday morning embroiderers gather to stitch and
chat. Often more chat than stitch.
We learn from each other, and from workshops and
classes. Some of our embroiderers have been coming for more than 30
years, so imagine the gems they share. Some
have been stitching all their lives, and some are new to the craft, but share
the love of thread, colour and fabric, and an admiration for the skills of
others, in the room, and in the world. Books and the internet mean
inspiration is boundless. Like the other artists and craftspeople in our
society, we do our own thing, in the company of like-minded.
